The company is an Australian owned wholesale business trade in 2015 in distributing and supplying convenience needs to retail stores across Australia. As the business expanding, we are looking for a full time accountant to join our team.
Skills and experience
Minimum 2 years accounting/bookkeeping experience.
MYOB software experience essential, Certified Advisor preferred.
Minimum Diploma qualified preferably Degree in Accounting
Tasks & responsibilities
Managing the day-to-day accounting transactions
Process and reconcile daily payments by Cheque, EFT, and Cash
Accurately maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records and report
Process weekly payroll
Bank reconciliations and transactions coding
Preparation of all data for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
Preparation and lodgment of Quarterly Business Activity Statements and Superannuation payment
Preparation of financial statement
Following up and identifying key actions taken resulting from account reconciliations
Investigate and resolve discrepancies and variances
