Tasks include, but not limited to:
• Administration, deployment, implementation, and management of security technologies • Establish and manage ICT security policies to minimize, and control risks • Liaise with customers to install and support network & security applications • Responsible for clear communication to key stakeholders • Writing, updating, and documenting technical guidelines, end-user documents and procedures for projects, research, designs, and analysis • Coordinate with security vendors, suppliers, service providers and external resources • Analyse, recommend, install, and maintain software security applications • Monitor contractual obligations, performance delivery and service level agreements • Deliver tasks in accordance with the defined scope of works and line with best • Provide root cause analysis to ensure system stability is maintained • Provide security guidance and consulting as well as a range of security assessments and awareness training to clients • Maintain awareness of trends in the development of Information Security. Maintain technical awareness of developments in system and network infrastructure • Design the database architecture, its structure and maintenance and security of original data • Conduct system audits, performance analysis, system firmware/software upgrades and preventive maintenance as required • Responsible for security software successful operation, management, and its recovery in case of failure • Management of the clients SIEM platform • Drive assessment, understanding and alignment of cybersecurity risk and recommend actions in line with overall company risk management and gain acceptance at appropriate levels
