In the Social Media and Content Coordinator role, you will join our internal Marketing team, reporting to the Marketing Manager, to create and execute social media marketing activities across a range of platforms to drive brand awareness and engagement.
This is a Part Time role - 24 hours a week (3 full days)
In this role, you will:
Generate social media content concepts and pitch to Marketing Manager for approval and generate captions to accompany posts.
Support the overall marketing strategy in scheduling, posting and management of all posts across our social platforms (including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and stories).
Grow follower numbers and drive engagement through monitoring and moderation of social media channels, including responding to comments (where appropriate) and reporting key insights back to the Marketing Manager.
Work with Marketing Manager to boost post across various platforms to various target audiences to align with greater marketing strategy.
Implement a social media marketing calendar under the guidance of the Marketing Manager.
Work with Marketing Manager in connecting with influencers that align with the values of our brand to promote to their audiences
Generate EDM content and schedule to send to our database of consumers to communicate information e.g. new product launches, specials, recipe inspiration etc.
Generate comprehensive reports and provide meaningful feedback on overall community engagement and growth, competitor behaviour and learnings on content and paid media.
Keep up to date with new and emerging social media trends to provide new ideas to increase brand awareness and engagement.
Other tasks as directed by Marketing Manager.
You will also have:
Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. However, as this is a part time role, we are also opening applications to those who are still studying and have not yet completed their qualifications.
Social media marketing or digital media marketing experience.
The ability to pivot between social content management systems to manage multiple platforms.
Strong copy writing skills which adapts to the brand tone of voice.
Strong content creation skills, including photography skills, with a creative perspective that aligns with the brands values and tone.
The ability to work well within time constraints and manage competing priorities.
A strong ability to solve problems and maintain attention to detail.
The ability to work in a team, collaborative environment
