The purpose of this role is to work with the Site / Project Supervisor, Project Engineer and Project Manager to coordinate key activities on site. This role will:
Comply with the group’s Policies, Plans and Procedures
Ensure that safe work methods are adopted for all site activities
Participate in OHS meetings (i.e. toolbox talks etc.) (where appropriate)
Ensure appropriate safety equipment is worn by site personnel at all times
Assist to identify and document potential risks to projects and develop effective control strategies to minimise risk
Understand the relevant project specifications and drawings
Monitor work against specifications to ensure the continuing quality and accuracy of work performed
Notify the Project Engineer or Project Manager of any defects, mistakes, errors, contamination, or variations identified
Assist to ensure construction works proceed in accordance with all relevant contractual requirement
Planning, scheduling, and coordination of various works through:
Preparation of short term (3 or 4 week look ahead) programmes of site activities;
Consider resources required to deliver the activities and co-ordinate with Site / Project Supervisor; and
Consider costs to deliver the planned activities and compare this against the budgets.
Report to the Project Engineer or Project Manager on progress of project activities through monitoring against current short-term programme
Ensure that the nominated Document Management System (e.g. Aconex Project Collaboration System; Teambinder; etc.) is fully utilised for all correspondence, distribution of minutes, drawings, and other project related information
Ensure proficiency in the use of BLU
Providing quantity take-off’s and BOQs
Providing cost estimates and able to forecast

Minimum of 3 years work experience
Aptitude for computing and design
Local experienced required
