Job requirements

Educational requirements: Diploma or trade qualification

English requirements: Proficient English

Requirements for skilled employment experience for years: 3-5 years

Required residence status: Permanent resident, Citizen

Accept remote work: Accept all the time

The successful applicants will have sound MiG, Tig and Oxy expertise, be able to follow blue prints, cut, fabricate and finish steel components. The successful tradesmen must be qualified welder and must have attained at least an Australian Certificate III in Fabrication or equivalent. • A demonstrated skill in following blue prints is essential as is proven experience at completing jobs to a high standard of finish. • Perform assigned duties in a timely and safe manner. • 90% welding duties and 10% in boilermaking • General Welder’s duties include MiG welding, grinding and straightening. • Knowledge of overhead cranes. • Maintain and use equipment as designed. • Ensure all work is carried out to quality and specification requirements and that documentation is completed on time. • Adherence to Company procedures. Competency • Trade qualified. • Demonstrated experience in welding heavy steel for a minimum of 3 years is mandatory. • Must be able to pass weld testing requirements. • Understanding of OH& S • Ability to work as a member of a team and without close supervision.
