This is a role for a software engineer who is experienced with building microservice-based Java web applications at scale.
Our stack includes Spring Boot / JPA, REST APIs, MySQL, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, Terraform and Angular 2 . The application is hosted on Linux within AWS.
Key Tasks include:
Design, architecture, development, upgrade and support of our enterprise class web applications
Hands-on software development – delivering features and functionality
Documentation of program architecture, features, infrastructure, standards and features
Development, configuration and set up of Law of the Jungle’s development operations and cloud infrastructure including testing and scalability
Research and analysis of system program needs. Identification of technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated processes, procedures and methods.
Involvement in releases of the new software to development and production environment (at an appropriate timeframe)
Completion of the above service to the documentation, development and coding standards and quality of the implemented software systems as provided by Law of the Jungle
You will deal with our full stack – design, architecture, communication, monitoring, availability, scaling and development.
