This is a great opportunity with huge flexibility, for someone looking for a part time role either 3 full days or spread over 4 during school hours with only 1 day expected in the office each week post initial training. Lovely small consulting group is seeking a Part Time Accountant to join their 15 person Melbourne office to take over from someone moving into retirement after many years with the organisation. This is a broad role, reporting into the head office in Sydney, mainly responsible for: - Preparation of monthly financial reports, including P&L and Balance Sheet; - Reconcile bank statements and credit cards; - Maintain GL; - Accounts Payable duties; - Project coordination including setting up new jobs and proposals and managing budgets; - Review weekly WIP reports; - Maintain the fixed asset register; - Payroll processing for 15 people; - Assist with Payroll Tax, BAS and Super preparation. You will need to be an experienced Accountant or high level Bookkeeper ideally with experience within a project based environment and be available to start immediately. Netsuite ideal but not essential.
