Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Accurate presentation of financial performance
Oversee banking, debtors and creditors
Cashflow management
Oversee AP process and drive improvements
Oversee the payroll process and improvements
Support the Group reporting deliverables
Lead all Audits as required (Statutory and other)
Ensure compliance to statutory law, finance & tax regulations (including but limited to BAS, GST NZ, PAYG, Superannuation, FBT, Income Tax, ABS etc.)
Team management including mentoring & staff development
Required knowledge and experience
Professional qualification as a CA / CPA
Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting or Economics would be preferred.
7 years experience in a finance role showing career development
A demonstrated knowledge of process improvement
Experience with FX management
Experience driving change within a department and business
Knowledge of Australian financial and accounting regulations
Advanced excel skills is essential
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point & Outlook)
Prior experience with accounting systems. Knowledge of Sun Systems would be considered an advantage.
