Position Summary: • More than 10 years of testing experience • Expertise in Retail & CG. • Strong experience in managing Functional testing, Integration testing, Business / User Acceptance Testing. • Experience in planning and managing UAT & PVT deliverables and activities. • Wide project delivery experience including POS Integration Projects, Retail Payments. • Strong stakeholder management skills and demonstrated experience in working closely with business SME’s and business owners. • Create/update/review Test Estimations & effort • Exposure to modern application architectures • Broad knowledge of Quality Assurance and Engineering principles • Identify and document project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies • Status reporting and stakeholder management
Mandatory Skills: • Expertise in POS system testing, retail products and AI applications • Experience in delivering the testing services spanning from system testing through user acceptance testing including Test Strategy Preparation, Test Planning / estimation, Test Design, Test Execution, Test Tracking, Defect Management and Test Closure • Experience in Project Management activities with demonstrated abilities in Software testing (Functional, System, Regression, Integration, and System Integration Testing). • Responsible for Defect Management and Status Reporting • Experience in Metrics Analysis, Tracking and Reporting • Ensured all contract deliverables, internal and external processes are documented and in a deliverable format • Managed and performed Risk-Based requirements validation tests, data analysis, and work for Independent Validation. • Worked closely with Global Delivery Test team members in critical defects and cross-functional team members on defect resolution. • Ability to prioritize work effort in a dynamic and volatile project situation. • Experience working with customer development teams and customers to understand business objective and functional requirements. • Take overall accountability for project delivery plan • Lead testing team and ensure deliverables are delivered as per plan, enabling team from blockers and effort management. • Ensure that standard process and deliverables are followed, and any deviation are managed and the risk and potential outcome of those risk communicated and accepted.
Duties and Responsibilities: • Analyzing requirements, estimating QA team’s efforts • Creation of Test strategy/plan and processes for testing activities in collaboration with business stakeholders and client project managers.
• Environment setup and hardware procurement for the project, test data management. • Responsible for identifying Risks and Issues, Mitigating the risk by workarounds. Timely calling out the risks and issues to the project team/stakeholders. • Work with project working group, attend project calls, standup and status calls • Triaging the defects with development team, BA and project team • Guiding the test team through Test design, Test execution phases • Leading the teams by providing specific detailed instructions, enabling them to routinely deliver high quality work products. • Review all the defects raised by testing team and prioritizing with BA and assigning the valid defects to the developers for the fix.
• Maintaining project repository, deliverables and testing artifacts • Knowledge transfer and upskilling the new team members • Performing business demos to showcase new functionalities to perform go/no go approvals • Helping the project team for writing production support & store training documents • Production support if required • On time and efficient delivery of all work items, no schedule or effort variance. • Sharing Test summary report • Evaluating the system program requirements are achieved. • Preparing Requirement traceability matrix, Test Data creation for script execution. Execution for Configuration and Integrations modules. • Identifying technology limitations and gaps in existing methods and procedures. • Provide assistance in proposals and strategies for new projects and its upgrades • Documenting the programs with requirements. • Creation of high-quality solutions and possess abilities to resolve business critical and technical issues independently.
