The successful Applicant will be responsible for the following duties:
Conducting fire safety inspections examining and testing automatic fire detection and alarm systems, instruments and control systems to diagnose faults adjusting, repairing, and replacing worn and defective parts and wiring, and maintaining fire panels, equipment and instruments reassembling, test operating and adjusting automatic fire detections and alarm systems installing automatic fire detections and alarm systems and control systems applying knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic principles in commissioning and maintaining automatic fire detections and alarm systems assembling, installing, testing, calibrating, modifying and repairing electrical fire safety panels and installations to conform with regulations and safety requirements monthly testing and inspecting of automatic fire detection and alarm systems, automatic suppression systems and pump sets preparing quotations for any repairs and or replacements necessary travelling and working at various sites all over Greater Sydney
