Supply Chain Business Analyst
The job role will encompass an array of analytics across multiple sectors of business in order to provide the client with performance improvement initiatives considering client’s resources, vision and agreed output. This role will include the analysis of business components, developing and performing mandates that determines the client’s needs and data, optimise business strategy, analysis of people, processes, systems and provides areas of shortcomings, risks and optimisation to clients. The desired output will include the implementation of operational deliverables and trackable success indicators.
The business analyst role will include optimisation of all activities related to inbound freight, inventory demand planning, procurement, inventory management, vendor selection, warehousing and distribution/returns of finished goods. Development and implementation of both functional and strategic plans focusing on continuous improvement, growth and alignment to the company’s strategic objectives.
Key Performance Areas and Responsibilities
• Development and continuous improvement of the client’s supply chain strategy considering company strategy, market trends, competitor analysis, industry norms, customer centricity, supplier relationships/expectations, data availability and expense reduction needs
• Understanding the client’s total cost to serve and ensuring alignment to benchmarked norms and client’s objectives
• Adherence to client’s divisional budget
• Client’s compliance and risk adherence in accordance with company policy
• KPI development, tracking and striving for continuous improvement across the value chain
• Management and development of client’s resources ensuring capacity optimisation and capability alignment in accordance with the company’s HR framework
• Ensuring all procedures relating to the client are effective, optimised, aligned to company strategy and benchmarked against best practice
• Building the client’s monthly reporting (financial and non-financial operational reports for board/senior meetings)
• Facilitation of client’s departmental meetings to ensure sucess
• Ensuring client’s vendors utilised are in line with company policy and are proficient in terms of ability, agility, footprint, cost, process alignment and payment terms
• Management of client’s 3rd party supplier agreements/contracts
• Optimising client’s asset management
• Maximisation of client’scurrent systems and implementation of possible systems for processes that are archaic/manual/in need of optimisation
• Developmental and maintenance of operational BI dashboards related to divisional activities and outputs
• Maximizing clients inter-departmental relations/communications

Experience:
Tertiary business qualification Full spectrum supply chain optimisation experience: Inbound freight; demand planning; inventory management; inventory evaluation; warehousing and physical product distribution (hub and last mile) 15+ years’ experience in the corporate restructuring realm Able to communicate with C-Suite executives as well as individual contributors Multi industry experience- pharmaceutical; medical; FMCG; retail; electrical manufacturing and distribution; Information Technology, and general commodity manufacturing and distribution We're are looking for a full time permanent Supply Chain Business Analyst to join the Entelect team.
