Educational requirements: Bachelor

English requirements: Competent English

Requirements for skilled employment experience for years: 3-5 years

Duties: Implements, maintains, and improves the effectiveness of the food safety & quality system. Understand the standards and HACCP principles and able to translate this knowledge into developing pre-requisite programs and to understand and assist in implementing corrective actions to be taken. Verification of Process Control and Pre-Operative check activities. Conducting QA Verification checks in accordance with standard checklist to monitor quality and food safety. Inspection of raw materials, finished products and packaging for compliance to set specifications and making informed decisions on material disposition based on information gathered Contributes to the investigation and resolution of customer complaints. Train operators and production staff to ensure compliance with company and customer quality standards and GMP standards. Good Understanding and handling of export food labelling requirements. Requirements: Tertiary Qualification in Food/ Dairy Science or Quality Assurance. Technical experience from a dairy industry in the quality role for at least 3 years. Knowledge in development and implementation of HACCP and Food Safety. Ability to understand and practice the accreditation process of external authorities and work with Food Safety Management systems (BRC, AQIS, DFSV) Excellent communication and influencing skills.
