Educational requirements: Diploma or trade qualification

English requirements: Competent English

Requirements for skilled employment experience for years: 3-5 years

Accept remote work: unacceptable

Responsibilities • Maintaining Plant and Machinery as directed by the Leading Hand/ Mechanical and Electrical Engineers in regard to Preventative maintenance policy’s • Repairing Plant and Machinery as directed • Installing and decommissioning of Plant and equipment as directed • Ensure MEX is updated accordingly with WO’s, PM’s, spare parts used, etc • Complete and sign off required documentation for HSE and legal requirements • Responsible for housekeeping in the works area. • Identify and report any hazardous condition or unsafe practice and any opportunities for improvement The successful candidate will have: • Trade Qualified Fitter/Machinist • Trade Certificate III – Engineering Mechanical Trade or equivalent qualifications • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/plans • Proven experience flux core welding • Ability to weld common metals (Mild Steel) • Machining using: Lathes, Mills, Drills • Ability to read & Understand Engineering Drawings • Troubleshooting on plant and machinery • Good English – verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work independently and remain motivated • Energic and ‘can-do’ approach
