Responsibilities:
-Prepare and cook foods of all types, either on a regular basis or for special guests or functions. -Determine production schedules and staff requirements necessary to ensure the timely delivery of services. -Estimate amounts and costs of required supplies, such as food and ingredients. -Assist in the preparation and production of dishes to the highest possible standard. -Assist in maintaining a minimal food cost by preparing and storing food items correctly -Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure conformance to established standards. -Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulations. -Analyze recipes to assign prices to menu items, based on food, labour, and overhead costs. -Collaborate with other personnel to plan and develop recipes and menus, taking into account such factors as seasonal availability of ingredients and the likely number of customers. -Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to staff. -Setting up, cleaning, and organizing workstations -Preparing oven, utensils, and grill for shift -Cooking order according to food health and safety standards -Assisting other cooks in preparing food or helping other team members when needed -Sanitizing and cleaning workstations and utensils
Requirements:
-Be willing to relocate if you are interstate or in other cities. -Be available on both days at weekends and be able to work split shifts. -Certificate III & IV in Commercial Cookery -Have at least 3 years of work experience as a Chef/Cook. -Ability to work in a team.
