Job requirements

Educational requirements: Diploma or trade qualification

English requirements: Competent English

Requirements for skilled employment experience for years: 3-5 years

Accept remote work: unacceptable

Responsibilities • Fault finding and troubleshooting ensuring all faults are fixed and quickly resolved. • Completing scheduled services to ensure customer requirements and service agreements are upheld and to ensure the safety of the customer’s equipment. • Daily workload management ensuring that all jobs are attended to within the specified time frames. • checking fabricated and assembled metal parts for accuracy, clearance and fit using precision measuring instruments • diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of forklifts, and overhauling and repairing mechanical parts and fluid power equipment • cutting, threading, bending and installing hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines • Deliver a professional level of service at all times. • Maintain an accurate service diary/time sheet record of work performed. Qualifications and Experience : • AQF Certificate III in Forklift Technology, or equivalent or relevant experience or • AQF Certificate III Mechanical Trade, or equivalent or relevant experience • minimum 5 years’ experience • Prior servicing, diagnostics and hydraulic experience. • Demonstrated understanding of electrical systems.
