Educational requirements: Diploma or trade qualification

English requirements: Competent English

Requirements for skilled employment experience for years: 3-5 years

Responsibilities • Test and tag all electronic equipment and solar systems confirming they are ready for installation. • Training and educating new team members on correct operating procedures to follow in using electronic equipment and systems. • Implement new processors and update current practices to ensure safety and prevent burning/breaking electronic equipment. • Install electronic instruments and control systems as required. • Liaising with customers to provide the best outcome where system upgrades or variations are necessary • Advise users in relation to electrical/electronical equipment function issues • Carry out repairs and maintenance of electronic components as required • Conducting quality control random routine inspections to ensure the adherence of SEA’s high standards • Provide support to operations and installation staff, and contractors in the area of electrical and electronical equipment operation. • Enter and update equipment/system checks, maintenance records on CRM in detailed and a timely manner. • Work with the management team, suppliers and other stakeholders to improve processes. Skills • A degree qualification in a relevant area. • At least 3+ years’ experience in electrical/electronic equipment operation and maintenance. • Technical knowledge and deep understanding of solar installation, systems and electrical/electronic equipment use. • Highly organised and ability to manage multiple teams. • Solution focused, excellent problem solving and customer service skills. • Strong and confident communication skills both verbal and written. • A positive personality who enjoys work challenges • Able to work effectively on multiple projects at the same time and manage priorities. • Professional presentation and demeanour
