Educational requirements: Diploma or trade qualification

English requirements: Competent English

Requirements for skilled employment experience for years: 1-3 years

Accept remote work: unacceptable

Responsibility: • Developing and planning standard and special menus. • Sourcing reliable suppliers and negotiating on pricing. • Stock ordering/controlling and budgetary processes. • Proficient with food cost control & food safety management • Establishing standards for food storage, rotation, and quality • Enforcing correct food handling & storage and abiding by all WHS standards are always met. • Monitoring and controlling the quality of dishes during all stages, ensuring consistently high-quality dishes are served at all times. • Preparing and cooking food to demonstrate cooking techniques to other kitchen staff. • Leading, trained, and managed kitchen staff • Participating in kitchen staff interviews and selection of kitchen staff • Implementing food health & safety legislation and relevant policies and procedures. • Encouraging and empowering a harmonious working culture Requirements: • At least 2 years of proven experience in a similar role. • Provide Any relevant qualifications or training certificates. • Must be competent and updated knowledge of the current dietary and allergy menu requirements. • Outstanding time management and ability to multitask in work well under pressure. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Full working rights in Australia and appropriate evidence of full vaccination for COVID-19 in keeping with the current WA health regulation.
