Educational requirements: Diploma or trade qualification

English requirements: Competent English

Requirements for skilled employment experience for years: 1-3 years

Responsibilities: · Developing project design/drafting and quotes for all Groundworks, piling and Bridging projects and selecting the appropriate equipment for the project. · Deiver professional Temporary & Occasionally Permanent Works engineering design, drafting via 2D/3D Cad and Revit, quoting and documentation services to clients. · Provide expert Civil Drafting/CAD support to the Mabey Engineering Team and overall business. · Work effectively within project teams to ensure the expected outcomes for clients and key stakeholders are met, within regulations, delivered on time, and within budget. · Ensure all the designs are checked and approved by the relevant manager prior to forwarding to the relevant stakeholder. · Liaise with clients and other stakeholders to provide technical input as required. · Undertake site inspections for individual projects to ensure site conditions are as per the design process. · Maintain knowledge and competence in the use of relevant retaining wall, bridging, and structural analysis software. Requirements : · Diploma Civil Engineering or equivalent · Design/drafting experience specifically in groundwork's, piling and bridging. · Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder relationship management skills. · Ability to identify alternate design options and offer effective and innovative solutions. · Experience and competence in the use of: ·Drafting Software including AutoCAD. · Relevant Australian Standards including Steel Design and Geo-technical · Microsoft Office, including word and excel
