Responsibilities & tasks include:
● Clean rooms and other work areas so that health standards and guest standards are met
● Carry linen, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies to areas to be cleaned
● Empty bins and transport waste to appropriate areas
● Ensure all appliances are clean and in working order
● Replenish supplies in rooms and other areas
● Observe precautions required to protect the site and guest/resident property, report damage, theft, and found articles to Site Manager
● Dust and polish furniture and equipment
● Assist with a stocktake of housekeeping stock and amenities
● Ensure all common areas are kept in a clean and tidy state
● Any other duties as assigned by management
Key Position Responsibilities:
● Able to work with minimal supervision
● Well-organized and time conscious
● Good communication and interpersonal skills
● National Police check
● Frequent lifting of rubbish bins, linen, cleaning supplies and equipment
● Use of broom, mop, vacuum cleaner, and other cleaning equipment
● Repetitive use of muscular force, bending, twisting, and stretching
● when carrying out cleaning tasks Frequent walking around the site and up and down stairs to cabins
● Use of cleaning products and chemicals
● Use of PPE such as rubber gloves and facemasks
