Responsibilities:
• A range of building projects from Commercial, Community, Sports and Recreational, Education, Retail, Heritage, adaptive reuse to high end housing and Health Facilities • Artworks and Special Structures • Engineering Design is expected to be completed using materials including timer, steel, concrete, aluminium, blockwork and glass • Manage structural engineering projects from inception through to completion including: • Concept designs – preliminary to detail design and documentation • Submission of fee proposals for ongoing work and management of the administration jobs including: • Invoicing for works completed • Ensuring the scope of work is followed or, alternatively, that new fee arrangements are made • Tracking of job profitability with the aim of realising appropriate job profits.
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in relevant field • Masters degree would also be highly regarded • At least two (3) years relevant experience as a Structural Engineer • Experience in structural engineering design particularly in Architectural buildings, infrastructure, institutional projects • Demonstrated expertise in relevant analysis software programs • Strong computer skills.
