Melbourne-based IT company is recruiting one full-time Software Developer
Key responsibilities:
- Participate in the development, testing and maintenance of software systems, websites and applications in accordance with company and client requirements;
- Write, modify and optimise programme code to ensure the stable and efficient operation of systems;
- Communicate with project managers, business analysts and team members to translate business requirements into technical solutions;
- Participate in database design, API development and system integration;
- Be responsible for troubleshooting, functional upgrades and performance optimisation of existing systems;
- Draft relevant technical documentation and assist with testing, deployment and ongoing maintenance.
Requirements:
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline;
- Relevant experience in software, website or application development;
- Proficiency in at least one mainstream programming language or development framework, such as Java, JavaScript or Python;
- Knowledge of common databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server or MongoDB;
- Strong problem-solving, code debugging and teamwork skills.
