Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for formulating and implementing the company’s procurement, supply chain and distribution management strategies to ensure the efficient operation of import and export business;
- Coordinate supplier management, procurement planning, stock control and product distribution processes;
- Analyse market demand, sales forecasts and stock data to draw up appropriate procurement and supply plans;
- Manage domestic and international suppliers, logistics service providers and distribution partners, and maintain long-term business relationships;
- Oversee international freight, customs clearance, warehousing and distribution processes to ensure goods are delivered on time;
- Optimise supply chain operational processes, control procurement, transport and warehousing costs, and improve overall operational efficiency;
- Draw up and monitor the supply chain budget, analyse operational performance and provide recommendations for improvement to management;
Job Requirements:
- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, International Trade, Business Management or a related discipline is preferred;
- Relevant work experience in procurement management, supply chain operations, logistics or distribution management is preferred;
- Familiarity with Australian import and export trade procedures, international logistics and supplier management;
- Strong skills in procurement negotiation, cost control and supply chain planning;
- Proficiency in inventory management systems, ERP systems and Microsoft Office software;
