Civil engineer

Our client is a Boutique Staircase company in Melbourne catering to industry trades, architects, owner builders and homeowners. We design and manufacture quality stairs at affordable prices from planning through to installation. Due to an increased demand in workload, we are now seeking a reliable and self-motivated Civil engineer to join our existing team to assist us in Stairs and Carpentry.

Duties:

Conduct Ｏn-site check measurements and draft working drawings.

Liaise with clients to understand their stair requirements.

Read, interpret and understand engineering drawings.

Ability to use stair design software to draw stairs and crreate proposals.

Provide support and advice Ｏn project planning and design processes, while assisting in the delivery of value for money and best practice project outcomes.

Maintain effective liaison and communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Expanding existing client relationships.

Requirements:

AutoCAD software proficient.

Familiar with working drawing and building codes.

Computer Literate(Windows and office package proficient)

Civil degree or related educational background.

A current Australian driver's licence and Construction card.

Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.

Solid team player with a strong work ethic.

Exceptional independent learning and problem-solving skills.

Capable of working overtime during busy periods.

Eligibility and rights to work in Australia.
