The Role
The IT Support Officer will provide Service Desk support to our client’s service locations spread across Australia. The team works in a Windows operating environment. Support is provided remotely using a combination of phone, email, and the extensive use of remote desktop tools.
Assist in the day-to-day maintenance of the network infrastructure including servers, printers, router, and switches
Manage service desk tickets, planning and prioritizing systematically as per our client’s Service Level Agreement targets.
Conduct ongoing maintenance including system and software upgrades for all desktops, notebooks tablets and smart phones
About You
The ideal candidate would have previous experience working on a service desk providing 1st level desktop support, as well as:
Strong communication and customer service skills
Excellent time management skills
Windows OS support and troubleshooting experience
Microsoft Server
MS Active Directory, MS Azure and Office 365 management
Networking skills including firewalls, VPN, switches, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
Experience with common backup technologies
Experience and understanding of VOIP
