We are seeking an experienced Software Developer with a relevant master’s/bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of relevant work experience to join our team in Emu Plains in New South Wales.
As a Software Developer your everyday responsibilities will include the following:
• Taking requirements for customizations to company software
• Evaluating requirements and designing customizations of the ERP software
• Writing and/or modifying code to implement customizations
• Advising on and submitting proposals for new software or add on modules
• Testing, modifying and approving new system applications
• Integrating existing software into ERP system
• Reporting on project and system updates and compliance to management
• Providing training to staff on software updates/changes including documentation
• Creatively solving IT and software issues at short notice
In addition, the right candidate will be required to have:
• Excellent listening skills
• Strong time and management techniques
• The drive to see tasks through to completion, including re-testing and re-working.
• The ability to be working on numerous and diverse projects simultaneously
• At least 12 months experience in the Australian construction industry
A solid knowledge of javascript, jQuery, PostgreSQL, Python and various SAAS including Odoo, Microsoft Suite and Google Workspace will be highly regarded:
This is a full-time position offering a generous salary between $65,000 and $80,000 plus superannuation to the right candidate (depending on experience).
