Duties include:
• Liaising with project stakeholders, undertaking feasibility studies, including cost-benefit analysis, to evaluate and select information solutions that best meet business requirements
• Analysing the client’s existing capabilities to analyse the process and identify potential issues and areas for improvement
• Providing strategic advice on using technology to successfully promote solutions to the client
• Managing ICT initiatives and collaborating with the in-house technical staff
• Overhauling current ICT processes to increase efficiency
• Providing consultation on new technology strategies and implementations
• Overseeing effective implementation of new technologies and systems; Supporting the implementation phase
• Developing user training documentation and conducting training sessions
• Using project management methodologies and techniques to scope, develop and manage projects
• Remaining a key point of contact for clients, providing assistance and guidance with technical issues
• Conducting ongoing business reviews and suggest improvements periodically
Qualifications and employment experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification is required
• Accounting qualifications, degree preferred
• Or at least 5 years’ relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification
• Substantial knowledge of and experience in providing strategic information technology consulting services
• Substantial skills and experience in working with vendors and developers in order to take concepts through to implementation.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Strong understanding and experience with middleware and integration.
• High-level organisational skills with attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work as part of a team and provide appropriate on-the-job training
