About the Role We are currently seeking to recruit a Customer Service Officer who is passionate about building great relationships and making a real impression on our valued customers as they first walk in the doors. This position is ideal for anyone who is interested in engaging in quality conversations with our customers and providing them guidance and support in a frontline role. You will ensure that customer's immediate service needs are met and opportunities are identified by understanding their broader financial needs. This position will be based in our Oakleigh Branch, and is part-time for 3 days (22.5 hours) per week. Your responsibilities will include: Cash handling Providing quality service to all customers in line with procedures by executing transactions efficiently and accurately Creating and maintaining customer profiles and records Opening accounts, handling general enquiries, exchanging money, international transfers Resolving customer enquires in a timely and efficient manner Reporting, checking and comprehensive compliance Supporting Bank events e.g. pop-ups, festivals Assisting customers with Smart ATM transactions About You As the Customer Service Officer, you will be the ‘face’ of the Bank, providing exceptional customer service and demonstrating the following qualities: Be customer service driven Be willing to learn about our financial products that support customer needs Build relationships with their colleagues and support team initiatives Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Excellent time management skills Good numerical skills and is confident in handling cash Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
