They drive progress for a better quality of life and help shape it! Inline with business needs they require an Assistant Product Manager to join their successful team.
As the Assistant/Trainee Product Manager your duties will include Assisting the Category Manager with development and implementation of product management strategies for their Building Solution division. This includes but is not limited to maintaining product information databases, conducting market analysis, processing sales figures and reports, and creating/management of internal and external contents.
Responsibilities:
PRODUCT INFORMATION MANAGEMENT · Maintain product information (Article codes, Descriptions, Images, Product hierarchy, Logistics information, Prices etc.) · Create/update product books, pricing files and other product management literature and liaise with the Marketing team · Create new articles and collect related information · Plan and lead workshops based on defined product management strategies
SUPPORT IN PRODUCT MARKET LAUNCHES · Conduct customer surveys · Gather market data and information · Conduct competitor comparisons · Update prices for key products and competitors · Update market-share data
DATA ANALYSIS AND REPORTING · Process sales data to SAP and Salesforce · Create reports for various stakeholders · Maintain databases · Develop presentations for various stakeholders
ADMINISTRATION
The Ideal Candidate will have:
Relevant education in Engineering and or business, preferably degree qualified and background in the product management field (A person with some technical background is a bonus). Tertiary Educated: Marketing degree with industry knowledge preferred
At least 1 years experience in product management within a mid to large size firm, Experience with an industrial Multinational Corporation is highly desirable.

This position is reporting into the Category Manager, Building Solutions (Plumbing and Civil Products). It is an entry level role for someone with 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role.
