Our client is looking for an experienced Accountant. Our client is one of the leading builders in the Ballarat region. Our client is an expert in building custom design homes with premium quality standards. We are currently seeking for a skilled Accountant to join our team; the details of the job position are listed below:
Position: Accountant
Location: Craigieburn Vic 3064
Salary Range: $60k to $65k superannuation, subject to review based on performance
Roles and Responsibilities
Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and companies
BAS/IAS preparation and lodgement
Provision of high quality business and taxation advice to clients, including tax planning, budgeting and cash flow forecasts
Establishing and maintaining positive client relationships, including attendance at client meetings
Identifying and resolving complex accounting issues
Providing solutions and advice to improve processes and contribute to the generation of new ideas for clients
Developing your consulting skills
Mentoring and developing junior team members
To be Accepted for this role:
3 years’ of professional work experience.
Studying or completed relevant university degree in either Accounting or Commerce
Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
Drive and ambition to be innovative and maintain a continuous improvement mindset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong PC and excel skills
Xero experience highly regarded
