Our client is currently recruiting a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Avionics) in Canberra ACT. Responsibilities: Avionics aircraft maintenance on various aircraft types. Main Duties: Line maintenance and heavy maintenance of aircraft Avionics maintenance including minor repairs or modifications Avionics inspections including major avionics repairs or modifications Modification of an autopilot system Conducting routine servicing of aircraft Conducting routine pre-flight inspections Ensuring that all maintenance carried out is certified correctly, IAW CASA regulations. Carry out post repair functional tests Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with technical documentation Qualification/s Required: Experience on Dash 8 Q200, Q300 and Q400 aircraft (or similar type); Trade Certificate IV (Avionics) and CASA Part 66 Licence Strong team player; Ability to follow supervisory direction; Excellent communication skills; Positive and proactive attitude essential; Passion for safe work practices; Valid work visa; Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain); and, Current Driver's licence. Employment Experience Particular experience on this aircraft type, as licensed engineer. At least 3 years Avionics experience on this aircraft type. Shift will to be determined but will be either early/late or night shifts. Salary Range $110,972.16 to $124,290.40 per annum exclusive of superannuation.
