A Farm requires Pickers / Farm labourers to start in May 2022 until November 2022 working at a Queensland Farm in Avondale Queensland then return to Tasmania to complete work at the farm from November 2022 until May 2023. You will work with surrounding farms (under labour hire agreements). Work will primarily be berry picking with some harvest maintenance tasks, pruning and planting. Points to note: Hours during the season can be long, and rostered work often includes weekends. You will need to ensure that you are available to work all hours required on a rostered basis. The duration of the working days cannot be predicted, as they are dictated by the quantity of fruit available on the day (which is largely weather dependent). This will be a labour-intensive job and work can be repetitive. If you have never worked on a farm before, please consider this before you apply.
