KEY RESPONSIBILITIES On a day-to-day basis the Data Analyst will be working on a range of projects with competing deadlines and requirements. The following list provides a summary of the key performance indicators of this role.
Data Analysis KPI #1 – Prepare and validate assets for standard reports within the allotted time frames. • Plan and communicate with the relevant project managers around scopes and timelines. • Ensure that assets are correct, consistent and appropriately named. • Use Place Score’s server and project management systems effectively. • Document, maintain and adhere to asset creation processes.
KPI #2 – Optimise the speed, output quality and ease-of-use of our asset-generation pipeline. • Devise and execute new ways to produce assets faster / cheaper / better. • Document and provide training in such improvements so that they may be employed by others.
KPI #3 – Generate and distribute regular internal reports correctly and on time. • Ensure that reports are correct, consistent and can be easily understood.
KPI #4 – Maintain our national databases in a state of cleanliness and currency • Update these at least monthly, preserving a version history. • Correct any errors which exist. • Ensure that these continue to evolve along with our changing business requirements.
Product Development KPI #5 - Contribute to development of new and existing products in terms of analytics, ideas and execution. • Where multiple solutions exist, present the various pros and cons and a recommendation. • Manage the execution of new solutions in a methodical and agile manner.
KPI #6 - Continually contribute to and maintain documentation on your own processes. • Ensure that documentation is current and can be easily followed by others. • Archive obsolete documentation.
Knowledge Sharing KPI #7 - Foster a good understanding of data analytics throughout Place Score. • Ensure that colleagues are well versed in the data and analyses that they are presenting to clients and the public. • Conduct training sessions as appropriate.
KPI #8 - Write at least one relevant linkedIn article per quarter based on exploratory urban data analytics studies in line with the Place Score vision. • Write cogently in well-structured English. • Represent Place Score in a positive light. • Comply with our confidentiality constraints.
