About the Role
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, your primary focus will be to support the business through the successful execution of marketing strategies and campaigns. You will be responsible for looking after our social media, but will also assist with updating our website and online store, drafting marketing campaigns, creating eDMs, and related marketing materials.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm from our Heidelberg West showroom.
Duties & Responsibilities
As our Marketing Assistant, you will:
Create and schedule engaging content across various social media platforms (specifically Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and linkedIn)
Regularly update and maintain our website and online store using the associated CMS (including the use of SEO, video, etc to continually increase traffic)
Coordinate the design and development of marketing collateral, flyers, brochures, POS material, and training documents
Work to drive weekly, monthly and quarterly KPI’s and targets to ensure that our reputation and reach is further built upon
Assist with the coordination of marketing events, tradeshows and presentations (including the attendance of such events where appropriate)
Analyse and report on performance and effectiveness of implemented strategies (eg. using data from Google and Social Media Analytics)
Ad hoc marketing and administrative tasks as required
Skills & Experience
To succeed in and enjoy this role, you should possess the following:
Tertiary qualifications in marketing, social media and/or communications (preferable but not required)
Experience as a marketing assistant, social media coordinator or similar role
Excellent communication (including strong writing, editing and proof-reading skills)
Computer literate with an eye for detail (Office, Google Suite, MailChimp, Shopify desirable but not required)
Ability to build rapport and create sustainable relationships with our customers and stakeholders
Target driven (able to work to KPI’s and targets)
Excellent time management and organisational skills, with an ability to manage competing priorities
An ability to ‘think on your feet’ and remain effective under pressure
Punctual and reliable
