ABOUT YOU Experienced in building large scale data driven Web applications across the backend or full stack. Love simple, clean and testable code that just works. Most of our code is in javascript / Typescript and Node.js, so ideally you will be comfortable with that, or tell us why another one is a better choice for the given problem. Familiar with building and deploying applications on a cloud based infrastructure, ideally AWS (RDS, SQS, Lambda and S3, etc). Have experience working with large scale data in RDBMS and / or data warehouse. Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. Experience (or interests) in mentoring and coaching other engineers and leading a team would be a bonus.
RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, you will: heavily contribute to end to end (or back end) design and development of highly reliable and responsive data intensive web applications, both in refining and scaling current products and features as well as building new products and features; work closely and report to our head of engineering; and have strong influence and impact on technical and product directions. The team you'll be joining is small, highly skilled and passionate about building great solutions.
4. KEY EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate should have some of the following:
Commercial experience as back end or front end javascript developer.
Experience with React or Node.js
Commercial experience writing clean and maintainable code.
AWS EC2 instances and AWS cloud watch logs administration.
