About the Role We are currently looking for an experienced accounting professional to join us as part of our close knit and collaborative financial team as Finance Officer, you will be working on-site based in Thomastown, reporting to the CFO and supporting the day-to-day accounting functions. The main duties will include - Daily bank reconciliations Manage end to end AP & AR functions Intercompany, Credit Card, GL, Balance sheet Reconciliations Accrual Accounting, End of Month processes & EOFY reporting and reconciliations Weekly Payroll Processing Statutory compliance and reporting requirements – IAS/BAS Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and other ad-hoc enquiries involving collation and analysis of information Assist with Audits General administrative duties Ad-Hoc Duties as requested Your Profile To be successful you will have experience in an account payable and receivable and payroll. Ideal candidate would have completed or are undertaking a degree in Finance or Accounting. The following attributes will also be highly advantageous: 2 years’ experience in a similar role Excellent oral and written communication skills Comprehensive knowledge in Microsoft Excel Excellent numeracy skills High level of organisational skills and the ability to exercise flexibility and prioritise work to meet deadlines High attention to detail and consistency in your quality of work Recent accounting /finance graduates encourage to apply.
