We are seeking a motivated geotechnical engineer with 3 - 5 years' experience in geotechnical engineering to complement our existing team. The role is as a Level 2 geotechnical engineer and will involve the following: • Geotechnical investigations – logging of soil and rock • Construction phase site assessment services. In particular the construction supervision of bored and CFA piles. • Design and analytical tasks working within our experienced engineering team. • Analysis, design and reporting for variety of geotechnical engineering projects for building, infrastructure and energy/ resources applications. • Design of piled foundations for bridge structures including bored, CFA, driven steel tubular piles and driven precast piles. • Design of piled retaining walls including CFA secant pile walls. • Design of micropiles. • Temporary works design, including but not limited to temporary access platforms and cofferdams • Develop and monitor construction methods and procedures, drawing plans and specifications. • Interpret and implement engineering drawings and reports. • Involvement in a range of projects both locally and nationally, including large scale building developments and infrastructure works.
