About the role The company is looking for a competent skilled Project Engineer with experience in Heavy Engineering and Fabrication. The Role provides the opportunity to manage and execute projects from start to completion. About you -Previous experience in a managing of structural, mechanical, piping fabrication and construction projects. -Proficiently able to use Microsoft Projects and Microsoft Excel. -Previous experience in estimating projects for tendering. -Autocad experience. Ability to develop profiles and 2D drawings. -Previous experience in development of ITP and management of ITP's. -Previous experience in reviewing and collating of MDRs. -Effective communication skills with all levels within the organisation & external stakeholders. -Experience in variation & contracts management. -Experience in logistics, procurement and sub-contract management. -Must be eligible to hold an Australian Security Clearance. Responsibilities -Rigorous engagement for a safe workplace. -Develop tender responses for fabrication projects and lead those projects when successful. -Estimating projects. -Interface/Communication with Client. -Plan and schedule projects. Develop project budgets. -Development of work packages and work orders for production. -Capturing of project variation and out of scope works. -Ensure projects are delivered and within budget & schedule. -Ensure all documentation is in accordance with client requirements and specifications. -Provide engineering support to production team for project requirements. -Progressively collate quality data and documentation for MDR collation and development. -Ensure quality, environmental and safety policies are met. Qualifications -Appropriate degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience. -Technical qualifications as appropriate.
