The opportunity
We have great opportunities for experienced Project Engineers - Civil & Mechanical to join our growing program of works in Adelaide and regional SA.
You will be working with an experienced and focused construction delivery team on waste water treatment plant programs, including earthworks and concrete structures with mechanical and electrical interfaces.
You will be a competent and confident Engineer who can communicate effectively with stakeholders and influence positive project outcomes on long term programs of work.
You will be responsible for:
Working with Site Engineers, Supervision and other project support to manage diverse projects in the water industry.
Developing and managing project schedules, updating production plans and working to weekly and monthly programs
Assist with the development of civil contracts for sub-contractors, managing and approvals of variations, initiating and executing work to minimize cost ensuring they are in line with the forecasted revenue
Communicating and liaising with client
Oversee the ITP's, assist with the SWM's process
Overseeing practical completion documentation
Provide high level construction support
Manage QA documentation processes / manuals for submission
Contribute to reviews and coordination of testing & commissioning of plant into service
Projects are located in the metro Adelaide area, and sporadically at country locations.
What we need from you
Ideally you will have experience in the Water Utilities sectors with exposure to WWTPs and associated Civil or Mechanical infrastructure. You will have;
A degree level qualification in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or similar)
Demonstrated competence in a project engineering delivery role
Ideally experience on construction projects in water infrastructure, including Water Treatment Plants
Knowledge of project financial management, forecasting, procurement, design and contracts management functions
A strong safety focus
An affinity for continuous improvement and innovation, applying learnings to 'real world' project delivery environments.
