Product development / R&D
Working with our team to build out and "productionise" certain product features & functions (using a combination of Python / PostgreSQL / AWS) Automate processes using R / Python / SQL (ie, Validating data against a Google API call) Design and develop effective analytics dashboards and self-serve tools (using a combination of Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, R (Shiny), Python and javascript) Participate in the development of new analytical approaches, data sources, and data visualisation techniques.
Data science: Building (machine learning) models for various purposes, including likelihood to churn, likelihood of purchasing a product, natural language processing, text clustering etc.
Capabilities & experience
A relevant tertiary qualification with at least 2 years of working experience Expertise in SQL and proficiency in another data programming language (Python, R, etc.) Experience with at least 2 visualisation tools (Tableau, PowerBI, R Shiny etc) Experience applying various machine learning techniques and understanding the key parameters that affect their performance Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and work with clients to understand the business problem, and translate this into data projects
