Job requirements

Educational requirements: Bachelor

English requirements: Competent English

Requirements for skilled employment experience for years: 1-3 years

Required residence status: Temporary visa, Permanent resident, Citizen

Key Responsibilities include: Conduct information gathering sessions/workshops with business teams to understand their business model, requirements and translate them into business requirement document Ensuring solution delivery is on track and aligned to the defined business outcomes Understand business objectives and translate them into business requirements Provide input into the strategies and long term IT directions that will support the strategic objective Work directly with teams to ensure delivery and implementation of the software solutions Performing tasks required to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of projects Assist and Support the Support team, which includes ensuring knowledge articles are kept up to date and training opportunities are identified and performed Leading improvements to business processes & products Develop and maintain automation scripts across applications and infrastructure Keep track of any defects arising from the testing or post-go-live, prioritise defects with the business teams and work with technical teams to resolve Work as a member of the IT team to contribute toward the achievement of the overall IT strategy, and provide leadership for continuous improvement Work with technical teams to ensure solution design is viable and meets business requirements Provide a strong focus on service continuity and disaster recovery planning Ensure performance monitoring and optimisation, and continuous improvement of relevant technologies Review and challenge designs for new and existing environments Skills we are looking for: 3 years of experience in a similar role with retail industry exposure Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good understanding of Agile Project Management and Software Development Methodologies Ability to work within set timeframes and to meet deadlines Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or industry experience (IT and/or Business)
