About the Role: The clients we are designing for are mainly bespoke Hamptons style or modern farmhouse style homes inspired by American architecture so an interest or understanding of these aesthetics is ideal. Working hand in hand with the creative director to ensure information going to the joiners is as per client specifications you would be required to perform the following: Interpret architectural drawings and prepare CAD/Revitt/SketchUp drawings for the manufacturing of residential joinery. Assist in improving The Decorum Life's current selections process with more formalised client documentation Assist in the evolution of the design space we bring our clients to make their selections with procurement of samples and development of sample boards, etc Assist in creating joinery vision and mood boards for an easier selections process Comfortable liasing with clients if required throughout a project This is an exciting opportunity to see your designs come to life. As a mid to high market designer the end product will be something you are proud to have on your portfolio. Essential skills: Enthusiasm Ability to visualise and work in 3D spaces Ability to produce detailed drawings efficiently and accurately with a strong attention to detail Concept documentation skills Knowledge of cabinetry hardware and joinery is beneficial Good communication skills Qualifications: Currently studying or completed a tertiary qualification or degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or drafting
