Duties and Responsibilities :
Responsible for design and code development using Guidewire modules and components.
Responsible for Addressing clients' issues and mapping business transaction. Responsible for estimating and analyzing defects for monthly release. Responsible for fixing defects for monthly release. Work and collaborate with the rest of the engineering team Work with application team and middleware team. Learn and understand user interactions involved. Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of downstream applications Developed business rules by configuring and customizing rules, events, pcf’s and entity changes using Guidewire. Responsible for working extensively on Incidents, Problem tickets, Tasks and in sharing extracts requested by stakeholders based on their requirement. ·
Analyze and understand existing Guidewire integration platform architecture, common frameworks, principles, patterns, deployment procedures.
Design and develop code using Guidewire modules and components Ensure all requirements, functional and non-functional are met Perform Guidewire PCF changes and functionality changes and document it. Get the Design reviewed and validated by Solution Architects. Design, implement and tune the APIs as per agreed Non-Functional Requirement on performance considering the network latency, end system latency and platform capacity. Utilize the Existing Guidewire Common frameworks for Logging, Exception Handling, and Notifications. Perform Code Review Prepare Unit Test Cases, Perform Unit Testing and document the results Support with code promotion/deployment and Provide Defect Fixes Providing support to the production deployment (production checkout) Has 6 years of software development experience in Guidewire Claimcenter version 4, 7, 8 and 10. Has work experience in javascript, JSON, SQL and Software Utilities like SOAP UI and SourceTree, Source Control Tool - GIT ,Build Tools : ANT, Maven , Gradle and Teamcity ·
