Site Manager The company is seeking a Trainee Site Manager to join their team to manage jobs in Sydney. This role will include relevant on-site training to equip you to become a fully qualified Site Manager! Reporting to a Construction Manager, your responsibilities will include: Training to manage the overall site performance of our home construction process; Training to maximise the site production by ensuring sub contract trade availability; Keeping up to date with building practices and procedures; Ensuring compliance with and delivery of established cost management and project management practices; Partnering up with your assigned Site Manager buddy and learning about the role; Complete training assessments which will be undertaken during the relevant training with each department; and Fostering a positive and focused culture where customer service and teamwork is paramount. Represent Australia's #1 New Home Builder 6 Years Running; The successful candidate will have: Completion of relevant tertiary education e.g. Building/Construction Diploma or of trade/building background; Experience (3 - 5 years) in the building industry (preferable in the volume new home environment); Customer Service experience; An understanding of building regulations; Knowledge of project management systems; Previous experience working with and implementing quality assurance systems to Australian standards; and Some experience in developing and managing organisational and external networks, particularly with trades, would be highly regarded.
