About this role
The successful candidate will be responsible for various business analysis activities especially in automation of construction materials handling process and integration of the construction materials handling systems with existing data systems.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Conducting meetings with machinery operators, hauliers and accounting staff to define the business requirements for an online, real-time, cloud-based system for tracking and managing construction materials handling process.
Defining the paper-based procedures and manual work practices that make up the four sequential sub- processes of identifying bills to be paid, recording all outstanding bills, preparing payment instructions for bills to be paid, and accounting for bill payments made.
Identifying a cloud-based platform that will be used to record all outstanding bills and provide data file transfer into the accounting system for the payment of those bills.
Liaising with system engineers from AWS and Caterpillar Australia Ltd to build a scalable test plan that includes all aspects of the targeted software solution but is able to be applied to only a specific subset of the business’s customers.
Creating online training documentation for the Automated Weighbridge System and conducting group training sessions with the different user groups within the business (machinery operators, third party hauliers, drivers, and internal accounting staff).
Working with accounting staff to build an integration template that will accurately upload all the outstanding bills information into the accounting system and testing the template in conjunction with the accounting staff for an agreed number of payments runs.
Providing detailed specifications of the critical input parameters (truck registration, product code, delivery destination, tonnage, haulier, customer, legal payload, vehicle tare and gross mass), for use by AWS (Australian Weighbridge System) software engineers.
Compiling detailed accounting requirements of the online integration platform (date, value, location, currency, vendor number, GST treatment, and payment terms) for review by the Chief Financial Officer.
Coordinating all reference documentation, training manuals and design guidelines for external and internal users.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in relevant ICT majors or equivalent.
