Looking for a passionate Data Engineer to embark on the organisation's digitalisation project and work closely with the Data Platform team. Permanent Contract Attractive Salary Package Large Australian Organisation Flexible Remote Working We are looking for a passionate and influential Data Engineer to embark on the organisation’s digitalisation project, to work closely with the data scientists to collaborate with customer insights and analytics functions. Our client is a large well-known Australian brand that owns and operates the successful leading retailers, who aim to provide solutions and engaging experiences that inspire our customers to make the most of their leisure time. Developing and deploying analytical models to make data a competitive advantage across the various fields of customer, retail, pricing, promotion, merchandising and supply chain. Working closely with the Data Scientist and other squad members to design and build all necessary data pipelines using ETL. Ensuring data quality, extraction and cleansing are applied in the process to remove incomplete or duplicate data. Ability to write production-level code, assess databases and leverage Big Data technologies on AWS platform to support downstream analytics. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Experienced in a recent Data Engineer role Professional ETL Experience Strong AWS background (Snowflake desirable) Strong Python and SQL skillsets
