About the Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Big Data Engineer to work on a range of projects for our clients. You'll need to have at least three to five years' corporate experience in big data engineering to drive capability build and commercial outcomes. The ideal candidate's favourite words are delivery, speed and scale. You will leverage your strong collaboration skills and the ability to streamline the components and processes in a big data environment Responsibilities Build robust, efficient and reliable data pipelines from different sources to ingest data in cloud big data platform Build codes using the existing standards, framework and version control Implement relevant data models to production environment Deliver work in according to delivery schedule Identify various data risks associated with the data process and draft mitigation strategies Qualifications At least 3 to 5 years' of experience in a similar big data engineering role within banking sector Extensive hands on experience on big data environment such as Hadoop and Cloudera Experience in data modelling implementation such as Kimball, Data Vault, 3NF, Inmon and others Exposure to cloud environment such as AWS, Azure or GCP Experience working with different technical and non-technical stakeholders Strong interpersonal and communications skills with ability to interact with the business autonomously Exposure to ETL tools such as Talend and Matillion is an advantage Bachelor Degree in computer science is required Why join us?
