Design Engineer - Electrical Switchboards
A successful, long established and growing company specialising in Electrical Engineering and Contracting, Control and Electrification in Melbourne's South Eastern Suburbs is looking to employ a Full-Time Electrical Engineering Graduate with Mechatronics knowledge and a hands on can do attitude, eager to learn all aspects of the automation and control industry.
The successful applicant will be expected to perform:-
Designing and programming small to medium sized PLC installation and commissioning projects
Develop HMI systems for PLC and DCS Systems
Site maintenance and breakdown support of PLC and DCS Systems
Safety system design and programming with strict adherence to Australian Standards for machine safety
Lead a team of electricians through site installation and commissioning projects
Travel throughout Australia completing machine control and safety projects
Project documentation, acceptance and signoff
Electrical CAD design
Daily travel to and from customer sites
Suggested qualifications/experience may include:-
HMI/SCADA design and programming
PLC system design and programming
CAD and electrical systems
C,C , Visual Basic Programming Languages
Teamwork and Leadership skills are very important
Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral

A base salary range $60k pa to $65K pa plus, negotiable depending on experience including annual performance reviews.
