You will have support and development experience with the following desired. • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding bespoke supply chain, merchandising and finance systems end to end • A logical approach to problem solving and the ability to constructively propose and review solutions • Experience developing solutions for Web (Web Api/REST Architecture/ASP.NET/MVC framework) and Windows (.Net/.Net Core/PowerShell/SQL) and drive best practice • Understand the existing systems at a high level and how they integrate with each other, including how they integrate with the wider Coles systems. • Strong SQL Server skills including database design, writing complex queries, query optimization and stored procedures. • Code review, testing, deployment, and support of solutions • Experience in working in Agile and Waterfall and flexible approach to project methodologies
You’ll also need: • At least 5 years relevant technical experience in a retail operations setting, fuel and convenience preferred • Proven experience in designing, and delivering complex integrations and web based reporting • Demonstrated experience in developing best practice security and standards within a MVC, .NET and ASP.NET • Power BI development and exposure is desirable • Demonstrated knowledge in DevOps practices & CI/CD skills in tools such as Bit Bucket, Confluence, DevOps and Jira • A strong foundational understanding of IT systems and architecture. • Previously demonstrated the ability to coordinate cross-functional work across teams to task completion. • A solid understanding of project management principles is preferred. • The ability to engage with business and IT teams at various levels. • Ability to mentor other members of the team in the use of the tools, systems and processes, providing guidance on solution designs to Technical Analysts and Development team.
