Our guest services team requires requires the experience of a dedicated and committed Front Desk Assistant, who is able to autonomously perform reservations / accommodation function. As you would expect, this position requires a person who is highly organised with excellent customer interfacing skills and telephone manner, who prides themselves on their presentation, accuracy and attention to detail in their daily work and ability to assist in growing the sales aspect of the business.
You will enjoy the challenge of dealing with our inbound tour operators, travel agencies, distribution channels and diverse guests from all over the world, F&B department, Rooms department and Marine department as you actively pursue leads as well as convert enquiries into bookings.
Ideally, you will have proven 5 star experience with a working knowledge of RoomMaster property management system. You will also have experience in travel agencies and distribution channels and managed customers across a broad spectrum. Most importantly, you will have excellent communication skills, proven telephone sales abilities, commitment to customer service and a professional manner.
All this and with a 'smile in your voice'.
As we are a small and growing business, flexibility to work a range of shifts is required. Ability to own a car and drive in Australia will be necessary in this role.
