The company is seeking a Civil Engineer to assist in the delivery of contracted projects at the subcontractor level from design stage right through to construction completion. The role is ideally suited to a person who has had relevant experience. The role encompasses the following: Initial interpretation and design planning of contracted project documentation Prepare initial specifications/sketches of applicable design and construction methodologies Ensuring design and construction methodologies comply with project-specific specifications and relevant Australian standards/regulations Assist with establishing baseline construction program of works and subsequent time scales for each activity Assist with monitoring of master project budget throughout construction phase Assist with compiling cost calculations & summaries of adjustments/variations to the originally contracted scope of works Provide construction project planning and organisation support to our project/construction managers Our ideal candidate will have the following: Minimum of 3 years in the civil construction experience necessary BSc in Civil Engineering or equivalent Ability to work independently and part of a team Conscientious with high attention to detail Able to deal with multiple projects and conflicting priorities High level communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable with Microsoft suite of products Salary range - $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 pa
